Nature philosophy

Member’s group show, July 2022. Focus and Edge Galleries of Arts Underground, Whitehorse, Canada.

This body of work began in June 2022.

The works reference historical paintings that simultaneously espouse feminist views while also incorporating female figures or nudes in the composition.

By replacing these figures with natural forms, I describe how women transcend social constructs and exist within a larger continuum of life, renewal and interdependence.
